My Drawing 1 class is my hardest class this semester. Seriously. I have never taken a drawing class before and the only thing I am really good at drawing is stick figures. BUT! here is my latest hw assignment that I am kind of proud of.
You thought I drew this didn’t you? No, not that good yet haha
Step 1: Find a still life painting that you can see shadows and different shadings
This one has a lot of symbolism – apple, knowledge and a snake (original sin).
Step 2: Do my own interpretation of it and match the lighting/shadows (thank goodness for a talented professional photographer boyfriend! 
)
I tried to make mine symbolic too! Apple, Macbook pros and the mac cord (new sin? haha)
Step 3: My charcoal drawing!
Step 4: SLEEP!
